Hayley + Greg // South Farm
Hayley and Greg chose the perfect location for their stunning wedding at South Farm, Royston. With it's elegant Tudor buildings and stunningly beautiful gardens and roaming farm animals, it was a joy to photograph here. The grounds housed a collection of Romany Caravans and Showman's Wagon's for guests to stay in gave a real uniqueness to this great location.
Hayley was as cool as one of South Farm's cucumbers and enjoyed champagne with her mum and bridesmaids. An emotional moment with dad and she was off to become 'Mrs Marshall'. While Greg managed not to injure himself with scissors while removing labels from his suit. A steady hand on his wedding day....now that took some doing.
The wedding ceremony was beautiful and guests had the pleasure of chatting with the newly weds until I guided them to the front for a few formal shots. As you can see, stunning! The bride wearing the most gorgeous vintage style dress and carrying a bohemian theme with gypsophila crowns for the girls and beautiful vintage style dresses they were a site to behold.
While the guests were showed to their places in the barn for their wedding breakfast, I took the opportunity to have a nosey around the farm and introduce myself to the animals.......mainly the pigs who for some apparent reason took an interest to my feet!!!
Meanwhile, the children were honoured to have their own barn which had it's own menu for the children, games and lots of jelly and ice-cream and were able to have a run of the farm to burn of their energy! Great fun!
The barn was beautifully laid and guests were presented with some mouth watering food. Speeches were read, laughter and tears ensued and soon evening guests began to spill into the wedding barn for an evening fuelled with happiness and alcohol! A fantastic party band playing an eclectic mix of tunes had everybody dancing the rest of the night away.
I really didn't want this wedding to end.
